Diane Sullivan

Chief People and Culture Officer

Diane Sullivan has been with Gulf & Fraser since 2012. She joined the credit union as Vice President of Human Resources before moving into her current role of Chief People and Culture Officer. She holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, holds the Chartered Director (C.Dir) Education Designation, and is certified by CPHR Canada.

Highlights of Diane’s 30-year career in the finance industry include her roles as Manager, Personal Banking with the Royal Bank of Canada, Manager of Organizational Development with TELUS/SuperPages, and Vice President, Human Resources with the BC Safety Authority.

Diane has volunteered as Board Director for the YWCA, Burnaby Hospital Foundation and for the Trustee Credit Union and Benefits Trust.

At Gulf & Fraser, Diane oversees human resources; employee training and organizational development; compensation and benefits; and labour relations.

Diane has been involved in several initiatives at Gulf & Fraser where the approach has been re-imagined and re-modeled to fit current needs. She supported the formation of the Business Transformation team and their innovative approach to meeting member needs by redesigning processes for a better member experience. She has been actively involved in the development of Gulf & Fraser’s current branch operating model which has altered the member experience, focusing more on human connection than bank transactions.
