Our Mission Branch has relocated to the Outlook Village, a convenient shopping hub for the growing population.

Since 2001, we've raised over $1.3 million for United Way British Columbia and thousands of people in BC. United Way British Columbia serves over 4 million people, addressing critical issues like children and youth, seniors, poverty, mental health, and food security – issues that become extra prevalent during the holiday season.

We're thrilled to announce that our 2023 fundraising campaign contributed another $42,811.

Between October 20 and November 6, the members of Interior Savings and Gulf & Fraser credit unions voted in favour of bringing the two organizations together. Interior Savings members voted 87.8% in favour while Gulf & Fraser members voted 80.7% in favour. With each vote counting toward a donation to support wildfire recovery efforts, we're pleased to announce that members helped raise $25,000 for the United Way's United for BC Wildfire Recovery Fund.

Thanks to generosity of our members, we're pleased to announce that together, we raised a total of $67,238 for United Way BC's United for BC Wildfire Recovery Fund.

“Cooperation and concern for community are two key principles of credit unions around the world,” says Bill Kiss and Jeff Shewfelt, Co-CEOs of Gulf & Fraser. “The collaboration with Interior Savings further demonstrates these principles in action, allowing us to amplify our support of the relief and recovery work being done by United Way BC.”

Another joint contribution of up to $50,000 has been pledged to support the communities impacted by fires and to increase member engagement in the upcoming vote.
